]]> By: Ener Hax http://www.hypergridbusiness.com/2010/01/hotel-magnate-launches-3d-meeting-venue/comment-page-1/#comment-3535 Ener Hax Fri, 22 Jan 2010 14:15:15 +0000 http://www.hypergridbusiness.com/?p=33460#comment-3535 i have been in the hospitality sector for a few years and it's the first i heard of them (doesn't mean anything, i am in my own little world - no pun intended) i find their pricing interesting, IHG was in Second Life for three years and you could book 3 diff spaces for free. even upload video, pics, and audio for free. you booked via an online reservation page and would list avatars to allow in but sadly, no one used it and now they are gone (Crowne Plaza flag of IHG) we will see more of this in Reaction Grid where we have our 4 sim private (soon to be connected) grid where you will be able to meet for free and even get free buildings, amphitheaters (we make these isl for Sun Microsystems, eBay, eLearning Guild, Cisco, and others), and furniture it will be interesting to see where the price point settles out, i still think SL is far too expensive (at our peak we had 19 sims) and Reaction Grid is spot on with their prices and many people like us will offer lots of free resources and develop a culture to foster it's use anyone can set you up with a sim, but it's showing how it adds value that is key, developing a culture to use it to the max, and i like that Immercio emphasizes that i have been in the hospitality sector for a few years and it's the first i heard of them (doesn't mean anything, i am in my own little world – no pun intended)
