@Maria. You are using a six month old and out of date address for Farworldz and giving the wrong statistic in your listing. The correct address is farworldz.net:8002/

Avi-Labs is still not in the list of hosting companies. Avi-Labs host AviWorlds, Baller Nation Grid, 4Addiktion grid and we are not hosting carlos loft Digital Lisbon again after he tried out the others and saw that we are the best. Nothing is said on this blog about that. Sorry to be complaining but I think AviLabs deserves to be listed on here. Anyway good job everyone!

uumm what about carlos? so if someone wants to try another hosting provider you then refuse to take them back? thats really nasty and unprofessional of you alex but of course expected.

      1. da.tonyhayward@gmail.com'

actually i think carlos has a grid through Alex, as for unprofessional maybe its time to look in the mirror hmmm.
It amazes me how many post on here taking cheap snipes at others…is that professional?

    Why is AviWorlds not listed?

    1. cinder.roxley@phoenixviewer.com'

      Aviworlds is listed:
      AviWorlds: 1,345 regions

thanks Cinder i must of missed it looking before

I am talking about Avi-labs which is offering very affordable hosting for grids out there and is adding more and more mini grids and grids. AviWorlds is one of the grids Avi-labs hosts. People are really missing out on alot here because this blog has refused to list Avi-Labs hosting. I see other hosting websites on the list that doesnt even have a way to contact them or order anything. Funny.

Maybe someday osgrid will clean up their dead regions again and we can find out how many are actually there.

It looks like The Great Canadian Grid is poised to keep moving up in the region stats.

Metropolis has more or less remained the same numbers since OSG went down, and then back up. Previous to that it had maintained around 1500 actives. And since OSG is back to its previous numbers, also more or less, we had a net increase in actives to the hypergrid in those alone.

Both are non-profits and have no commercial motives to do much of any marketing. So, even so, they continue to be places of interest to people.

I ran into a guy I had known from inwz at last Fridays OSG regular party. He has rented some regions in Lost paradise “just in case”. One of his issues was with the founders:

“[2016/01/15 14:29] (name removed): It’s really a shame that the founders at IW are so screwed up.”

I am going to leave out my response to that….lol

He also said: “[2016/01/15 14:42] (name removed) well it has really made my day running into you. So glad you’re doing well.

He also had some good words for GCG: “[2016/01/15 14:34] (name removed) yes and the reason I think is that there seems to be a lot of events going on over there.

He also is enjoying the hypergrid.

In any case, and more importantly, this shows an increasing amount of people who dwell in closed grids exploring their options. I have also been reading in various places that SL people looking around has increased.

This all bodes well for the future of the Hyperverse and that is a very good thing for the users, especially if they can get hooked up by the hypergrid touring groups or others who can help them to explore all the cool things going on.

I won’t be answering the expected responses to this comment.

      Lonely for attention, little troll?

    2. da.tonyhayward@gmail.com'

good stuff Minetheree, I have also heard a lot of SL people are looking around, which has to be a good thing.

      1. trrlynn73@gmail.com'

I think so Da….there are thousands of them presumably so a few here and there and then them passing along the things they find is a healthy thing-)

    3. moonriseazalee@gmail.com'

Your first three bits were almost on topic and relevant. The rest is just your usual attempt to badmouth and publicly shame a grid you have issue with. At least your comment is very obvious trolling and therefor not to be given anything more than eyeroll.
That being said, it sure is great to see OpenSim continue to grow. It’s wonderful that people from SL are able to find new outlets for their virtual creativity.

First off I want to start by saying if this message upsets anyone I am sorry but enough is enough. I have sat back and just let you all talk bad about this bad about that. I do know that being honest can hurt a grid. We have always been honest and up front about all that we do on TanGLe Grid. We don’t add regions to make the top 10 list or add avatars to show us as having great increase in population. We have tried everything to help with ALL grids to get involved as a big family and got our assets kicked for doing that. Well ENOUGH. You cry and yell that there isn’t thing to do as a ALL Grids togetherness. We did with the Opensim Treasure Hunt and as you can see from the website of the hunt not alot of grid got involved. Sad Really. As soon as we came out with it you all made a your grid hunt after telling us ” People Are Sick Of Hunts”. mmmmm TanGLe Grid never said that the hunt was ours only but tried to get everyone involved. Well we will never do anything like that again. We will do a couple more 3 max and if it don’t pick up it will be closing it and I don’t want to hear one more word about how we don’t work together. Plus Marie does this stats not to make anyone upset but you guys can’t help yourselves. No clue why you need to complain just be happy someone is doing it. TanGLe Grid is here to stay where you all never come to see us that is up to you. But it would be a shame if we had to close down just because we don’t have the number you all think we should. How is that saying, “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.” Enough said. You all have a nice day and let’s hope this is the end of the drama. It is for us.

    1. da.tonyhayward@gmail.com'

couldnt have said it better. Speaking for myself I hold no bitterness to any grid on open sim and think at the end of the day it is unproductive for any of us to do so. Maria does in my opinion does an excellent job with this. I admit that I was unaware of the treasure hunt but that is no ones fault but my own……I was too lazy to look. I think that fostering a greater co-operation between grids in open sim can only benefit anyone involved. Well said TanGle Grid

    2. serraroyale@mobiusgrid.us'

I was actually planing on contacting about that however due to RL issue i hasn’t been on much recently until earlier this week. We at Mobius Grid are looking into various forms of multi grid entertainment. Feel free to contact me, I think our team’s would benefit from collaboration work.
