I would like to mention here that ALL the Avi-Labs members first have to be my friends in my facebook profile page. Some that are not my friends have asked to join. But all the rest are my friends, my community thats the only way I can place them in Avi-Labs or any group I create.
    Thanks for the article!

  2. da.tonyhayward@gmail.com'

    scratches head

      1. da.tonyhayward@gmail.com'

lol head lice? No . What I cant understand is how long it will last. No sign up page? Currency Avi$ are there cash outs available? How do people buy Avi$? Are the Oars and content safe?
A lot of unanswered questions I think

        1. skylifegrid@yahoo.com'

It is like any other grid we have all the same features and set ups you know how the things go you do not have to question how it works you know how everything works you’ve been in the business for quite some time now we provide what we can and continue to improve on what we do not have we can only do what we can we’re not superhuman

          1. da.tonyhayward@gmail.com'

So what is the answer on cash outs, buying Avi$, Are oars safe and guaranteed. Will there be a log in page?
David wrote a good article but there are a lot of questions unanswered which tends to make me think he wasn’t provided the info

          2. netinterprizes@yahoo.com'

No cash outs yet. no buying AV$s yet. no guarantees no safe no nothing. The site is up and running yes. AviWorlds will go on that is the answer Hayward. We will keep working on it. Lots of people are there enjoying the grid that is the most important thing. Cheers!

          3. Lol. Thanks. I really hadn’t asked Alex the additional questions in your comment above but anyway, thanks for asking.

  3. p657247@mvrht.net'

Is there any chance that us who lost money and sims in one of the many last iterations of aviworlds can get credits or some free time? It takes a lot of work to re upload our content. Are there any backups you have access and can restore? Thanks – Burkle / Also when trying to register I am getting a PHP error?

    1. p657247@mvrht.net'

Guessing maybe this is a known issue with the registration issue because many of the parts of the website have errors. Object not found!

The requested URL was not found on this server. The link on the referring page seems to be wrong or outdated. Please inform the author of that page about the error.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

When I click on contact webmaster it says postmaster@localhost seems like you guys don’t have an email set up? Am I looking in the correct place. How can I get some support.. Thanks

        1. netinterprizes@yahoo.com'

Well you were very good in pointing out ALL the errors and bad links..I am sure you can find the registration area..Its pretty easy even my private monkey found it..

    2. netinterprizes@yahoo.com'

No. Each time you and all the rest who signed up in AviWorlds agreed with its TOS. There it says no guarantees, no refunds and that aviworlds had the right to shut its doors at anytime without notice. No refund for currency either. So no and no and no Mr M Burkle…lol

  4. da.tonyhayward@gmail.com'

Well looking at the answers from Alex , I guess that says everything.
No guarantees, Quote: “No. Each time you and all the rest who signed up in AviWorlds agreed with its TOS. There it says no guarantees, no refunds and that aviworlds had the right to shut its doors at anytime without notice. No refund for currency either”
Not really much more to say is there?

    1. netinterprizes@yahoo.com'

Yes DA… I would be a fool to guarantee something that is still in BETA and ALPHA developmental levels. As I have explained many times here; the ten times I have tried to revive AviWorlds there was always something that happened and the grid had to be shut down. Many of these 10 times were not me simply shutting it down. They were not my fault, well I had a fault in it for having no experience at the time.
The only thing I can guarantee is that AviWorlds is full of people no matter what because my community, the ones that were there know me and saw what really happened. They trust me and follow me because they know I care and I would not be trying again and again and again if I did not.
I say it again. There is no guarantees..none! Anyone can participate but I am not guaranteeing anything…

Another point I must say…hmmm… There is something I can guarantee. People pointing fingers at me and JOSH and AviWorlds as if they were perfect and never failed at anything. You see; these people are perfect you know…

      1. da.tonyhayward@gmail.com'

I seem to remember two people saying that they new what they doing. so ….How long is it been in BETA & ALPHA development levels now? What you are saying is people are welcome to give you their RL money for Avi$ yet if it fails tough. So one would expect you would also offer these people helping to fund the development Shares in AviWorlds?
        Or is it buyer beware?

        1. serraroyale@mobiusgrid.us'

I think he is referring to Opensimulator itself. While it has gotten pretty stable it is still considered alpha software on the opensim website

        2. skylifegrid@yahoo.com'

You once supported our causes and now look at you … We try our best and Im sorry that things did not work out for you.. I thouroughly hope that you have found your perfect bit of service you have been looking for !

          1. da.tonyhayward@gmail.com'

Oh come on. How long is it going to last really? Yes we are happy where we are, you should know.

    2. skylifegrid@yahoo.com'

Look if you don’t Like it then dont partake Its like your trolling here Da Haward … We are trying our best … please feel free to go back to your grid within an grid if your so happy with it!!

      1. serraroyale@mobiusgrid.us'

While I don’t typically agree with Da on stuff. From a customer perspective Da has a point. If he is sold things on your grid and you went belly up he lost money. I really recommend that you use gloebit instead of AV even if you are not on the hypergrid because it if you went under your customers would still have there money and with how gloebit works it helps you as a grid with transactions.

        1. skylifegrid@yahoo.com'

I think your idea is somethings we should look into. I am defiantly one for keeping customers happy.

          1. serraroyale@mobiusgrid.us'

I highly recommend it. Especially if you expect a high amount of inworld transactions. I use gloebit as the grid wide currency on Mobius. If you have questions about gloebit contact Chris and if you have any questions of gloebit from a grid owner and end user perspective I am happy to try to answer.

      2. da.tonyhayward@gmail.com'

lol josh calm down and don’t get so defensive. My questions were legitimate. What do you need to defend? AviWorlds is back up, in a fashion.

    3. susannah.avonside@gmail.com'

AviWorlds on it’s tenth iteration! I wonder how long it’ll be before it’s on it’s eleventh? I don’t know how many people have signed up once again, but given the stated ToS of AviWorlds of not wanting to take any responsibility for user created content and for money spent on inworld currency, I’m surprised if they are indeed signing up in large numbers. I suspect that many will be those who for whom P.T. Barnum had some choice words, whilst the rest must be very patient eternal optimists.

Nonetherless, AviWorlds is back with us, once again. Should prove at least as entertaining as ever.

      1. netinterprizes@yahoo.com'

The man who invented the LIGHT BULB failed 40 times before he was finally successful. You may also put it in prospective that success is not only staying online for many consecutive years with no land sales no growth at all…Success is being able to achieve…in my view at least… 🙂

        1. cinder.roxley@phoenixviewer.com'

Thomas Edison was testing theories and developing something. You’re installing software. Not quite the same thing. It didn’t take Thomas Edison forty tries to *screw in* the lightbulb.

          1. netinterprizes@yahoo.com'

You’ve said it yet you did not see it

          2. cinder.roxley@phoenixviewer.com'

I didn’t see Thomas Edison trying to screw in a lightbulb? Well, that’s true. What is your point exactly? Turn of the century developments in electrical engineering are a far shot from installing software someone else wrote on a PC.

          3. skylifegrid@yahoo.com'

The main thing is he does not give up !!! With every failure it makes him stronger we are all learning and do not have the disposable income to hire outsource help like some here everything you see is from trial and error. It is truly unfortunate that the users have to suffer during our testing and learning. It will be providing everyone on the team stays in good communication. And keeps a few copy’s of the current database and files we should not have to worry about loosing anything from now forward.

          4. da.tonyhayward@gmail.com'

Josh You hit the nail on the head “It is truly unfortunate that the users have to suffer during our testing and learning”
Wouldn’t it be better to wait till it is a product you and Alex can guarantee to potential user’s?
Not looking for an argument just saying it would be better from a marketing point

          5. skylifegrid@yahoo.com'

I 100% agree. It’s just when you first setup a gird it’s only after you see it being used is when you get to start finding the errors. I do work on our developmental grid before merging it to production it’s just things seem to break after a wile this the investigation continues

          6. netinterprizes@yahoo.com'

Again. You say it but again you do not understand.

          7. cinder.roxley@phoenixviewer.com'

            Help me understand, Alex.

          8. cinder.roxley@phoenixviewer.com'

Then quit being so hard to understand or at least stop complaining that you’re misunderstood.

          9. netinterprizes@yahoo.com'

            LOL…..ok Cinder…I will..bless you!

          10. cinder.roxley@phoenixviewer.com'

            BLESS IT BLESS MY IMAGINATION

          11. cinder.roxley@phoenixviewer.com'

Last I checked, Edison didn’t fail because he decided not to pay his bills.

          12. netinterprizes@yahoo.com'

Yes you don’t know what happened and u do not believe what I said in regards of that specific problem. So if you don’t know and don’t believe and yet you say what does that make you?

          13. cinder.roxley@phoenixviewer.com'

Alex, you’re the one who said you didn’t pay your bills and you’ve said it more than once, so what am I not believing?

          14. netinterprizes@yahoo.com'

I did not say I chose not to pay and in fact if you are referring about the servers in question at that time; they were paid but were hacked. Other TWO servers were not paid because I was not aware and was on a mountain driving a 74000 pound truck in Wyoming I -80. Had no internet plus the fact that my Facebook and Paypal accounts and email accounts were hacked. There. You should now know the facts. But Josh went ahead and paid the two servers that needed to be paid anyway. So they did not go offline. Again. The server in question was not offline. It was being hacked hard but not offline due to non payment. The other two servers were paid.

          15. cinder.roxley@phoenixviewer.com'

Actually, I’m talking about the other times you chose not to pay like with DigiWorldz.

          16. netinterprizes@yahoo.com'

No. I offered DigiWorldz to pay him for an entire year up front but I needed an extra 4 days to pay and he said no. DigiWorldz does not offer any grace period and he did not provide me with the back up of my data base. The only thing he did give me were the oars. So you are once again wrong.

          17. cinder.roxley@phoenixviewer.com'

Offering to pay someone later isn’t paying them, you silly goose. lol

          18. cinder.roxley@phoenixviewer.com'

Alex, are you DB Cooper? Be honest.

          19. skylifegrid@yahoo.com'

Db Cooper is not Alex it’s bother one of our close friends though

          20. cinder.roxley@phoenixviewer.com'

            Nobody asked you.

          21. cinder.roxley@phoenixviewer.com'

I didn’t know I needed to sugarcoat it for you, hun.

          22. netinterprizes@yahoo.com'

No. I am a champion and a genius.

          23. cinder.roxley@phoenixviewer.com'

It’s true. I always feel more intelligent after reading your thoughts and ideas.

        2. susannah.avonside@gmail.com'

Anyone who knows about the invention of the light bulb would know that it was the work of more than one person, so I don’t really get your comment about taking forty times before finding success. There were many experimenters, some more successful than others. Edison seems to have done very little innovation himself, preferring to buy patents and then commercially exploiting them. First and foremost, Edison was a promoter, a marketing man, though the product he marketed wasn’t exactly the best.

Define success? Is there an objective measure of success?

          1. netinterprizes@yahoo.com'

Well I can’t help you if you don’t understand what I am saying. It is probably not your fault your mind can’t comprehend the mind and sayings of a champion.

          2. susannah.avonside@gmail.com'

Okay, since we seem to be in the business of passive-agressive insults, I’ll just suggest that Einstein’s comment about people who try the same thing time and time again and expect a different result would seem appropriate.

You may well be a champion at something, but I don’t think it’s in operating a virtual worlds.

          3. netinterprizes@yahoo.com'

I know all the insults did not originate from me first. In fact most of your posts and other haters really start by pushing it and then you get a response that you do not like it and start crying about it. Certainly I must say and ask who are you to say I can’t try again and why would I listen to you? As I understand here from your responses that you are a quitter? You are criticizing me for trying again so you must quit each time you fail at something? And if you dont quit then you would be doing the same thing I am?

          4. susannah.avonside@gmail.com'

Alex, you kind of attract all the less than positive comments, as you breeze in an announce your latest re-arrival and then wonder why people are sceptical. In a way you do insult people’s intelligence through each time saying something along the lines of “This time, it’s different”.

I don’t cry about any comments aimed at me, we have a saying here, that says that in order to give it, one has to be prepared to take it as well.

Far from being a hater, (I don’t have the time or the energy for such emotional investment) I’m merely sceptical, and more about challenging your somewhat pompous attitude.

I don’t think anyone is saying that you can’t try again and again and again, but that doesn’t invalidate the wisdom of the Einstein quote. Knock yourself out. I don’t need to try and try again, as I’ve achieved what I set out to do, and whilst I’ve not always had success, I’ve always attempted again, using a different tack , with those things that are important to me. I’m not trying to set up the all singing, all dancing virtual world replete with it’s own (inconvertible and unredeemable) currency. I’ve restricted myself to those things that are within my abilities, and only attempted more ambitious projects once I’m fully comfortable and confident in my abilities to make something work, especially when that involves other people. So your logical argument doesn’t fit; I’m not attempting to achieve what you are, and have no desire to attempt doing that.

In all honesty Alex, how long will it be before AviWorlds is down again due to force majeur, falling out with the tech girl/guy, or some other disaster beyond the control of the grid owner? We all know you’re not a quitter, but I think there are many of us who wonder why you persist in coming back, only to crash out again a short time later, often with a vow of never returning. And then you wonder why hardly anyone here takes you seriously!

I don’t think there is anyone who has any genuine ill will towards you Alex, even though you seem to set yourself up all the time. You provide us all with a lot of entertainment, as this is possibly the best drama available at present in OpenSim, and I mean that in a soap opera kind of way rather than in the more sinister sense of the word.

If you were to disappear from the pages of Hypergrid Business I think we’d all begin to miss you very soon…

There would always be though, lurking in the back of the mind, that nagging question, “When will Alex be back, announcing the latest reincarnation of AviWorlds?”.

          5. netinterprizes@yahoo.com'

All I am doing is not giving up. Simple. I would also miss myself. 🙂

          6. cinder.roxley@phoenixviewer.com'

Remember that time AviWorlds shut down because you got kicked you out of your house?

          7. netinterprizes@yahoo.com'

I do and I remember I opened it up again soon after. So what is the sin here? Are you perfect ? Is it a sin for believing and not giving up?

          8. cinder.roxley@phoenixviewer.com'

Well it certainly isn’t champion level opensim gridding. Neither is letting a furry steal your customer’s data and upload it to a copybot forum.

  5. skylifegrid@yahoo.com'

Thank you David Kariuki For the amazing Article !!! And for your hours of contribution to the Hypergrid Business!

    1. Thanks a lot too for the information and support.

  6. logan_hunter@live.com'

I think it’s very interesting that conflict resolution between Alex and Josh. The two of you have a lot of ability to keep a grid in the air. Congratulations to both of you and I withdraw from public my offenses to Josh Boan I’ve done in the past.
I hope that now AviWorlds remain in the air as it is exactly what the Brazilian players expected, the return of the AviWorlds Grid.

  7. dykoda.d@gmail.com'

First I’ll say that the comments I’m about to make are honestly not meant as an attack on Josh or Alex, or even have anything to do with them directly, so there is no need for anyone to get offended. Let’s face it, most people enjoy drama and this situation has provided, and will likely continue to offer a lot of it. I personally believe that drama, more than anything else, is what keeps drawing people back. Just turn on the news and see which stories are getting the most attention, feedback, and run-time. Open Facebook and see who’s getting the most comments. Heck, even professional sports know drama works. And even those of us who adamantly state that we dislike drama….are here posting comments yet again =D

I have been away in the city for work. Come Monday oct 2nd ish I will be going over any of the current issues and find a resolution. It appears one of the region servers we have is not preforming top notch. We will as soon as I can get to a computer. Merge the conficting regions onto a faster server that has been already tested to work. Unfortunately when I’m in the city i drive for a living and makes it very hard to do any work on a tablet or cellphone screen

  9. skylifegrid@yahoo.com'

Soon JP Collection yachts will reopen in AviWorlds but this time we have a huge huge line of ready to buy yachts and other goodies. I have been getting a lot of feedback on kitley regarding having more of my collection for sale in opensim ,,, well soon almost my entire collection will become available for purchase in AviWorlds via PayPal or Av$ and be able to be transferred to your home or preferred grid

    1. cinder.roxley@phoenixviewer.com'

      So much love for Aviworldz.

      1. netinterprizes@yahoo.com'

Yes. It is my passion Cinder. and it is AviWorlds not AviWordz…lol…sorry…

        1. cinder.roxley@phoenixviewer.com'

          Can’t it be both?
