Quality reasons have caused Ohio-based YEI Corporation to delay shipping on its Kickstarter-funded PrioVR virtual reality full body controller system.
“You deserve a quality product and we don’t believe the product we can ship next month will meet that level of quality,” said Mike Sutherland, VP of YEI Technology, in an announcement. “The short answer is that we will not be shipping the suits in June. “
He added that the company anticipates that it will ship the suit “a little later this year.”
The company had raised $322,103 on a goal of $75,000 in March of this year.
