Sony Music Entertainment will launch its Littlstar Japan VR video services next month, the company announced Wednesday.
New York-based Little Star Media Inc. will provide the VR delivery platform, Sony said in the announcement. Content will be delivered via the browser, and to a variety of virtual reality headsets including the Playstation VR, Gear VR, Oculus Rift, and the HTC Vive.
There will also be a smartphone application.
Little Star already offers 360-degree videos from ABC News, Ryot, Discover, Showtime, Disney and other content partners with apps for Android and iOS that can show the videos both on a standard screen and on any Cardboard-compatible mobile headset.
