OpenSimWorld(.)com seems to be missing from any of those lists but is increasingly the goto place to find new regions, grids and inworld people.
Good point. I didn’t list them because they’re not a social media site, and there’s no way to track how many people visit them. Here’s the link: http://opensimworld.com/
There’s also the Hyperica.com directory, now owned by Fred Buckhusen of OutWorldz: http://www.hyperica.com/
not to quibble but the definition for social media site :
“The term social media is usually used to describe social networking sites such as: Facebook – an online social networking site that allows users to create their personal profiles, share photos and videos, and communicate with other users.” (Wikipedia)
puts it well within that definition considering a number of the features the site has. I especially enjoy the comments, reviews and pictures members have posted there of the different Opensim locations on the Hypergrid.
As far as how many visit them, I would say that is true of many of the other sites you did list as social media sites. Some of the G+ Groups for example may have impressive membership stats but considering the ever decreasing postings at some of them, I would suspect the visitations are dramatically less than that.
And also just added The Adult Grid links. If you know of a grid that’s not listed, email me: maria@hypergridbusiness.com, so that people can find it and follow it.

I added OpenSimWorld to the full list of communities: https://www.hypergridbusiness.com/statistics/metaverse-communities/
I’ve also added all the Facebook and Twitter groups to that list.
And I’ve updated this article with the full list of social media accounts for all the grids I’ve got data for.
So if you want to get into the business of writing about OpenSim, just subscribe to all these groups and you’ll have lots of news to cover.
I just updated the list with full social media links for Littlefield.
All the communities are also on this page:
