Makers of EON Icube holodeck to offer educational content

Press Release: EON Reality Develops Unique EON Icube Content for Education and Entertainment

IRVINE, Calif. – EON Reality, the world’s leading interactive 3D software provider, has recently taken a strategic decision to invest in the Virtual Learning Program content development area in addition to their current software and hardware strategy. EON is conducting several projects to address a new generation of learners. View video of how new active learners use interactive 3D software and technology.

The Virtual Learning Program content modules provide an “active learning environments that enable graduates to be proficient in collaborating nationally and globally.” By being in a multi-sided immersive environment in which participants are completely surrounded by virtual imagery and 3D sound, EON Icube, the user can experience anything from training rescue operations on an offshore platform to advanced collaboration and from learning biology to experiencing architectural design before they are even built.

“Collaboration and teamwork in the corporate environment is increasingly virtualized. Students and their educational systems must be given the same virtualization technologies,” said Dan Lejerskar, Chairman, EON Reality.

According to Lejerskar, virtual collaboration and teamwork is much more powerful as a communication device in terms of passion and intimacy than anything that can happen on a phone between students.

“Interactive 3D virtual learning empowers students to meet, exchange information, and network without traveling,” added  Lejerskar.
